LMA Seven Principles LMA Principle #2 Spot the BIG LIE in Temptation. Temptation is dynamic, and it has magnetic power. We become convinced by our fleshly desires that a “drink,” a “pill,” an extra piece of “cake,” that “relationship,” is going to be the best thing that has ever happened to us. Our “flesh” says it will satisfy and soothe us. God says, STOP! Temptation promises much but delivers little! It is the “BIG LIE.” Hebrews 2:18 “He suffered and endured every test and temptation, so that he can help us every time we pass through the ordeals of life.” James 1:13 “When you are tempted don’t ever say, “God is tempting me,” for God is incapable of being tempted by evil and he is never the source of temptation.” Principle #2 helps us to realize that ‘Temptation’ is a ‘Big Lie’…..always has been….is now and will always be……one ‘Big Lie’……..read the above statement and scriptures and reflect on what is being said to you….. Proverbs 1:21 (TPT Yet wisdom’s song is not always heard in the halls of higher learning. But in the hustle and bustle of everyday life its lyrics can always be heard above the din of the crowd. You will hear wisdom’s warning as she preaches courageously to those who stop to listen: Stop to listen and gain ‘wisdom’ …….apply to your life……. Enough said…..
