Hebrews 12:11 (TPT) Now all discipline seems to be painful at the time, yet later it will produce a transformation of character, bringing a harvest of righteousness and peace to those who yield to it. Friday has arrived…..Labor Day weekend (USA); for many a three day holiday weekend……time to recuperate from a long week….. So, as we head into this new day, may we take time to reflect on various types of discipline that we have in our lives. Discipline can be and is (if we allow it to be); a ‘learning experience’ that can help us to grow as men/women of God. Men/women that have learned and are learning from our poor choices in life…..we use these experiences to help others as we have been helped……read today’s scripture with me…..”Now all discipline seems to be painful at the time, yet later it will produce a transformation of character,”…… Poor choices bring about ‘painful’ consequences…….yet, we can and do learn from these episodes…..read on…..”bringing a harvest of righteousness and peace to those who yield to it.” Learning from our mistakes brings about ‘peace and righteousness’, if we allow it to and look for this to happen in our journey……(Take A Moment To Meditate….Place Your Hands Over Your Heart)…..Breathe in…..(Produce Transformation In Me)……Breathe out….. (Bring Peace To Me)…..Breathe in…..(Help Me To Learn From My Poor Choices)……Breathe out…. (You Are My Righteousness)…..Friday here we are……walking in peace and righteousness…… Breathe in…..Breathe out……. Let’s pray…..”Father, help us to learn from our poor choices…..help us to walk in peace……Bless this day….protect us and our families…..we come to You in the name of Jesus…..all together….. say……Amen.”
