May 5, 2021 - Wednesday - Daily Devotional
Greetings,
John 6:27 (TPT) Why would you strive for food that is perishable and not be passionate to seek the food of eternal life, which never spoils? I, the Son of Man, am ready to give you what matters most, for God the Father has destined me for this purpose.” Wednesday is here….(Hump Day once again!)……. Another new day…..and as this week moves forward how are you envisioning your ‘purpose’? So, as we read today’s scripture together may we ponder it’s message for us…..and allow it to ‘soak’ into our souls……Read with me……”Why would you strive for food that is perishable and not be passionate to seek the food of eternal life, which never spoils?”…… Yes, let’s understand that we need not ‘strive’ after the ‘gift of life’ that is ours in Christ……we have no need to ‘strive’ after that which we already have in Jesus…..read on…..”I, the Son of Man, am ready to give you what matters most, for God the Father has destined me for this purpose.” Jesus knows His purpose….and we can know ours as well….our purpose is to ‘know’ our ‘True Identity’….which is in Jesus Christ…. May we not worry about things that are perishable and focus on the things that never perish…. the things of Christ……the Spiritual aspect of our lives (which is everything)……(Take A Moment To Meditate…Place Your Hands Over Your Heart)…..Breathe in……(Rest In Jesus)……..Breathe out …….(Strive Not After Perishable Things)……..Breathe in……(I Know My Destiny Is In Jesus)……. Breathe out……(I Love You PaPa)……Wednesday here we are…..’Knowing’ our destiny in Christ …..Breathe in…..Breathe out……. Let’s pray……”Father, help us to ‘know’ our destiny in Jesus……help us to ‘Strive Not’ after perishable things…..Bless this day…..protect us and our families…..we come to You in the name of Jesus……all together…..say…..Amen.”
