2 Corinthians 2:7 (TPT) Instead of more punishment, what he needs most is your encouragement through your gracious display of forgiveness. Friday is here….Yay!! Another weekend just a few hours away…..how are you today? I have forgiveness on my mind today……let’s think about and ponder this for a few minutes …..(together); Do you……do I….. have any unforgiveness in my heart? You know we all have been wronged……yet, we have all wronged others (and in man’s eyes we place these wrongs into categories…..some being worse than others); yet, God says one sin (wrongdoing) is the same as another in His eyes….. Let’s read today’s scripture and think about it…..”Instead of more punishment, what he needs most is your encouragement through your gracious display of forgiveness.” Here Paul is talking about someone whom had caused him pain and anguish (as well as others); he speaks to those people with the suggestion that the guy did not need more punishment…..he needed ‘encouragement and forgiveness’……as we think about those that we harbor ‘resentments’ and ‘unforgiveness’ towards…….let us seek Christ in us to ‘forgive our unforgiveness’…..(Take A Moment To Meditate….Place Your Hands Over Your Heart) ……Breathe in…..(Please Give Me A Spirit Of Forgiveness)……Breathe out……(Forgive My Unforgiveness)……Breathe in…..(Help Me See My Forgiveness)……Breathe out……(Forgive Those That Have Not Forgiven Me)…….Friday here we are……seeking to Forgive and ‘BE’ Forgiven…. Breathe in……Breathe out…… Let’s pray……”Father, help us to forgive…….help us to forgive those that harbor unforgiveness ……..Bless this day…..protect us and our families…..we come to You in the name of Jesus…… all together…..say……Amen.”
