Matthew 23:12 (TPT) Remember this: If you have a lofty opinion of yourself and seek to be honored, you will be humbled. But if you have a modest opinion of yourself and choose to humble yourself, you will be honored.” Friday is here and we are just hours away from another weekend…….time to unwind and relax …….just remember (participate in activities that bring honor to our Lord Jesus); let’s go about ‘all’ our endeavors in a manner that is of God (Father-Son-Spirit). Read today’s scripture with me……”Remember this: If you have a lofty opinion of yourself and seek to be honored, you will be humbled.”…….. Being arrogant and self-centered leads to being humbled (in this case meaning brought down in a ‘bad’ way)……read on…..”But if you have a modest opinion of yourself and choose to humble yourself, you will be honored.” So, let us look upon ourselves with ‘realistic’ eyes (so to speak); may we ‘BE’ humble men/women (display humility in thought and deed; in spirit…the Spirit of God)…….doing so will lead us to a place of honor….a life of honor….. a life that honors our Lord…….(Take A Moment To Meditate…..Place Your Hands Over Your Heart)….Breathe in…..(May I ‘BE’ Humble In You)…..Breathe out…..(Help Me To ‘BE’ Modest) ….. Breathe in……(May I Not Be Arrogant)……Breathe out…..(May I Choose Humility)……..Friday here we are walking in a ‘Spirit of Humility’……Breathe in……Breathe out…….. Let’s pray…..”Father, help us to ‘BE’ humble before You and other men/women……help us to ‘BE’ modest and examples in You……Bless this day…..protect us and our families…..we come to You in the name of Jesus…..all together…..say……Amen.”
