Greetings,
James 3:9 (TPT) We use our tongue to praise God our Father and then turn around and curse a person who was made in his very image! Monday is here again…..another weekend has come and gone! Father’s Day was observed in many parts of the world yesterday……may we ‘BE’ grateful for our earthly father’s and ever more grateful for our Heavenly Father. We ‘all’ have a story about our father’s…..(good and bad); yet, as we begin another new day……(another new week)…..let us think about today’s scripture as we read it’s words together….”We use our tongue to praise God our Father and then turn around and curse a person who was made in his very image!” Whoa…. hold up….this is too much like the truth! All my troubles begin and end with my tongue (how about you?); you know our tongues get us into trouble and at times get us out of trouble…. Our ‘tongues’ can be thoughts as well as verbal! As we ponder this ‘truth’ about ourselves…..may we begin to move away from ‘cursing’ that which is Holy (Our Heavenly Father’s children are Holy)…..you and I are Holy…..Praise that which is Holy……and curse not those made in Our Father’s image……Make sense? (Take A Moment To Meditate….Place Your Hands Over Your Heart)….Breathe in….(Help Me Bridle My Tongue)……Breathe out…..(All Are Made Holy) ……Breathe in…..(I ‘AM’ Made In My Father’s Image)……Breathe out…..(You Are Made In Your Father’s Image)……Monday here we are…..learning to bless and not curse that which is Holy (Me and You);……Breathe in……Breathe out…… Let’s pray….”Father, help us to ‘bridle’ our tongues…..help us to ‘see’ ourselves and others as Holy….Bless this day….protect us and our families…..we come to You in the name of Jesus…all together….say…..Amen.”
