LMA Seven Principles LMA Principle #4 Reach Out to the Body for Help. In many ways, this is why Jesus built the Church to be the ultimate support group. It is in many instances, but “self-righteousness and legalistic beliefs” hinder the “proper attitude” required to be a mentor and sponsor. Seek others in the Body that are “accepting and forgiving” and have similar problems, i.e., addictions and compulsions. The Divine Mystery Colossians 1:24 “I can even celebrate the sorrows I have experienced on your behalf; for as I join with you in your difficulties, it helps you to discover what lacks in your understanding of the sufferings Jesus Christ experienced for his body, the church.” Look to others for help and to walk out this journey of life with……look to those that you can relate to…..those that have struggled with similar issues. Stay away from those that are stuck in the world of legalism and those that are judgmental ………trust Jesus to place those that you need in your life. Luke 6:37 (TPT) Judging Others Jesus said, “Forsake the habit of criticizing and judging others, and you will not be criticized and judged in return. Don’t condemn others and you will not be condemned. Forgive over and over, and you will be forgiven over and over. Forgive over and over…..you will be forgiven over and over……you will become a forgiven forgiver……. Enough said…..
