Psalm 62:2 (TPT)
He alone is my safe place; his wraparound presence always protects me. For he is my champion defender; there’s no risk of failure with God. So why would I let worry paralyze me, even when troubles multiply around me?
Friday has arrived…..Yay! The weekend is ahead….what do you have planned? Are you looking forward to some R&R……some fun event…..’OR’ are you worrying about your situation…..fretting about mistakes (both past and present)? Let’s go to the Book of Psalms today and listen to the words of King David…..the father of Solomon……read with me……”He alone is my safe place; his wraparound presence always protects me.”….. Our God (Father-Son-Spirit) is ever Present and yes is ‘wrapped’ around us and in us….read on…..”For he is my champion defender; there’s no risk of failure with God.”……read that again…’There’s no risk of failure with God’…..finish up…..”So why would I let worry paralyze me, even when troubles multiply around me?” So, why would we allow worry to consume us….when we have such an awesome God …..the ‘Triune God’ that has us wrapped in His Eternal Embrace and He will never let go….NEVER! (Take A Moment To Meditate…..Place Your Hands Over Your Heart)…..Breathe in…..(I ‘AM’ In My Safe Place)…..Breathe out…..(He Always Protects Me)…… Breathe in…..He ‘IS’ My Champion Defender)……Breathe out…..(I Will Not Worry Needlessly) ……Friday here we are……living in Your Eternal Embrace…….Breathe in……Breathe out…….
Let’s pray…..”Father, help us to know that we are in God’s Eternal Embrace…..help us to Relax in His Love and Protection……Bless this day….protect us and our families…..we come to You In the name of Jesus…..all together….say….Amen.”
