Greetings,
Matthew 18:21-22 (TPT) Unlimited Forgiveness 21 Later Peter approached Jesus and said, “How many times do I have to forgive my fellow believer who keeps offending me? Seven times?”[a] 22 Jesus answered, “Not seven times, Peter, but seventy times seven times![b]
Wednesday has come again (yep Hump Day); as we step into this new day may we think about forgiveness….both the receiving of and the act of giving to others……Read today’s scripture with me……”Later Peter approached Jesus and said, ‘How many times do I have to forgive my fellow believer who keeps offending me? Seven times?”…… Think of yourself and how you handle forgiveness….especially when someone continues to offend you in some form or fashion….sounds like Peter may be a little frustrated…..read on…..”Jesus answered, ‘not seven times, Peter, but seventy times seven!” Jesus tells Peter to not only forgive seven times but, seventy times seven….in other words forgive as many times as you need to……His forgiveness for us is ‘endless’ and ‘unlimited’……past, present and future……live a life of forgiveness and notice the results in ‘your’ life as you do……the peace that you will experience is beyond description……..(Take A Moment To Meditate….Place Your Hands Over Your Heart)…… Breathe in……(I ‘AM’ Forgiven)…..Breathe out…..(Give Me The Wisdom To ‘BE’ Forgiving)…… Breathe in……(Jesus Says Seventy Times Seven)……Breathe out……(Unlimited Forgiveness For All)…….Wednesday here we are…..walking as forgiven men/women…..forgiving as Jesus teaches us to…..Breathe in…..Breathe out……
Let’s pray……”Father, help us to ‘BE’ forgivers….help us to receive our own forgiveness……Bless this day….protect us and our families…..we come to You in the name of Jesus……all together….. say…….Amen.”
