Philemon 2-4 (TPT) 1–2 From Paul, a prisoner of the Anointed One, Jesus, and Timothy our brother, to Philemon, our precious friend and companion in this work, and to the church that meets in his house, along with our dear sister Apphia and our fellow soldier Archippus. 3 May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ pour out his grace and peace upon you. Philemon’s Faith and Love 4 I am always thankful to my God as I remember you in my prayers 5 because I’m hearing reports about your faith in the Lord Jesus and how much love you have for all his holy followers.
Monday has arrived once again…..here we are beginning a new day….a new week; and as we do let’s reflect on Paul’s words of praise about Philemon…..one of his fellow workers in sharing the Gospel of Jesus…..Read with me…..”From Paul, a prisoner of the Anointed One, Jesus, and Timothy our brother to Philemon, our precious friend and companion in this work, and to the church that meets in his house,”……. Paul is pointing out that fellow believers are meeting in Philemon’s home…..a regular thing in those days….(why aren’t we doing that now?);…..Fellowshipping and getting to know one another in Christ…..read on…..”along with our dear sister Apphia and our fellow soldier Archippus. May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ pour out his grace and peace upon you. I am always thankful to my God as I remember you in my prayers because I’m hearing reports about your faith in the Lord Jesus and how much love you have for all his holy followers.” I would like to point out that a woman is mentioned here as a fellow worker in sharing the Gospel……as they were involved throughout the scriptures….(men, later tried to downplay their role); Our Lord is no respecter of people (as in one over the other); we are ‘All’ One in Jesus…….let us meet together in love and fellowship in our common faith…..(Take A Moment To Meditate….Place Your Hands Over Your Heart)….Breathe in….(Thank You For My Brothers and Sisters in Christ)……Breathe out….(Relax)…..Breathe in….(Give Me A Loving Heart)……Breathe out……(Rest In Jesus)……Monday here we are praying for one another……Breathe in…..Breathe out………
Let’s pray…..”Father, help us to love one another….help us to fellowship with one another…… Bless this day….protect us and our families…..we come to You in the name of Jesus……all together…..say…..Amen.”
