1 Corinthians 12:16-18 (The Passion Translation): And if the ear were to say, "Since I'm not an eye, I'm not really a part of the body," it's forgetting that it is still an important part of the body. (17) Think of it this way. If the whole body were just an eyeball, how could it hear sounds? And if the whole body were just an ear, how could it smell different fragrances? (18) But God has carefully designed each member and placed it in the body to function as he desires.
1 Corinthians 12:16-18 (Mirror Bible): Should the ear say, "Because I am not the eye I am not part of the same body;" does that mean that the ear is right? 12:17 If the body was just one huge eye, then everything would be silent; if it was all ears, then how could it smell the fragrance of the flowers! 12:18 God engineered every individual part of the body according to his deliberate design. (The hearing ear and the seeing eye, the Lord has made them both. Prov 20:12.)
Greetings,
Tuesday has arrived once again. Here we are on our way into another week in this brand New Year. As we look around us and in the mirror, we see various interpretations of God. Our identities are in Christ, yet they are not rubber-stamped copies. We are all unique, divinely created, and inspired creations of God (Father-Son-Spirit).
As we read today's scriptures together, let's reflect on our uniqueness inside our oneness (think about it) ….., "And if the ear were to say, 'Since I'm not an eye, I'm not really part of the body,' it's forgetting that it is still an important part of the body." Think of it this way. If the whole body were just an eyeball, how could it hear sounds? And if the whole body were just an ear, how could it smell different fragrances?" It takes all to make the Body of Christ. We are all in the Body and of the Body yet, we are unique. Read on ….., "But God has carefully designed each member and placed it in the body to function as he desires." Yep, we are carefully designed and uniquely created to BE ONE with our God (Father-Son-Spirit)
Take a moment to meditate. Place your hands over your heart…..Breath in……Help me BE…..Breathe out…..I AM unique…..Breathe in…..I AM whole……Breathe out……I Am divinely created.
Tuesday here we are IN YOU Father and You IN Us...... Breathe in…..Breathe out.
Let's pray……, "Father, help us to BE and to understand our uniqueness inside our oneness. Bless this day. Protect us and our families. We come to You in the name of Jesus." All together, say, "Amen."
Pray for one another.....
In Jesus,
