LMA Scriptural Foundations
Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV): For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
John 10: 10(TPT): A thief has only one thing in mind—he wants to steal, slaughter, and destroy. But I have come to give you everything in abundance, more than you expect—life in its fullness until you overflow!
John 10:10 (Mirror Bible): The thief “shepherd” has no other agenda but to steal, kill, and he couldn’t care less if he lost some sheep. I have come with the sole purpose for you to have life in its most complete form.
Romans 12:1-2(TPT): [The Transforming Power of the Gospel] Beloved friends, what should be our proper response to God’s marvelous mercies? I encourage you to surrender yourselves to God to be his sacred, living sacrifices. And live in holiness, experiencing all that delights his heart. For this becomes your genuine expression of worship. (2) Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes.
Romans 12:1-2 (Mirror Bible): Live consistent with who you really are, inspired by the loving-kindness of God. My brothers, the most practical expression of worship is to make your bodies available to him as a living sacrifice; this pleases him more than any religious routine. He desires to find visible, individual expression in your person. (2) Do not allow current religious tradition to mold you into its pattern of reasoning. Like an inspired artist, give attention to the detail of God’s desire to find expression in you. Become acquainted with perfection. To accommodate yourself to the delight and good pleasure of him will transform your thoughts afresh from within.
Luke 5:31-32 (TPT): Jesus overheard their complaining and said, “Who goes to the doctor for a cure? Those who are well or those who are sick? (32) I have not come to call the ‘righteous,’ but to call those who fail to measure up and bring them to repentance.”
Luke 5:31-32 (Mirror Bible): Jesus answered, “Those who are in good health need no physician; the ailing do. (32) I didn’t come to re-define the self-righteous but those who realize they couldn’t get it right by themselves. I came to awaken ‘sinners’ to recognize their authentic identity mirrored in a complete re-aligned mind.”
Read and reflect on LMA’s Scriptural Foundations and consider where you stand in your spiritual life. Help us to understand.
Psalm 10:17 (TPT): Lord, you know and understand all the hopes of the humble and will hear their cries and comfort their hearts, helping them all! Lord, You know and understand us……hear our cries for mercy.
Enough said.
