LMA Principle #2 - Spot the BIG LIE in temptation

Temptation is dynamic; it has magnetic power. We become convinced by our fleshly desires that drink, that pill, or that extra piece of cake will be the best thing that has ever happened to us. Our flesh says, "It will soothe us, it will satisfy us." STOP! Temptation promises much but delivers little! It is the "BIG LIE!"

Principle 2 reminds us of temptations and the magnetic pull they can and do have on us at times. These temptations usually lead us to think that if we submit to this temptation, it will fulfill us or make us whole (Holy). But the truth is we are born whole (Holy), but we wander off seeking that which we have already been provided by God through the Spirit living in us. God (Father-Son-Spirit) is Present.... just a thought away.

• Romans 5:8 (TPT): But Christ proved God's passionate love for us by dying in our place while we were still lost and ungodly!

• Romans 5:8 (Mirror Bible): Herein is the extremity of God's love gift: mankind was rotten to the core when Christ died their death.

Jesus died for our sins, but He did not remain dead. He lives inside of us today and always…….just a thought away. He will help you overcome all temptations.
