Matthew 22:36-40 (TPT) 36 “Teacher, which commandment in the law is the greatest?” 37 Jesus answered him, “ ‘Love[a] the Lord your God with every passion of your heart, with all the energy of your being, and with every thought that is within you.’[b] 38 This is the great and supreme commandment. 39 And the second is like it in importance: ‘You must love your friend[c] in the same way you love yourself.’[d] 40 Contained within these commandments to love you will find all the meaning of the Law and the Prophets.” Friday is here….Yay! Another week has come to an end….another weekend just ahead. Have you come to the understanding of just what the ‘Greatest Commandment of God is’? Sounds important to me…..seems as though we should know this…..what do you think? Let’s read the scriptures together as we bring this week to a close…..”Teacher, which commandment in the law is the greatest?” Jesus answered him, ‘Love the Lord your God with every passion of your heart, with all the energy of your being, and every thought that is within you.”…… Yes, let us Love that which ‘IS’ Love personified……Love that which is immersed in Love and that keeps us immersed in the Love that ‘IS’ God…..read on…..”This is the great and supreme commandment . And the second is like it in importance: ‘You must love your friend in the same way you love yourself.”…… Yes, love your friends….love yourself…..we must learn to love ourselves in order to love others…..finish up …… “Contained within these commandments to love you will find all the meaning of the Law and the Prophets.” Love sums up all there is to know about our God….about who we are meant to ‘BE’…..what this life is all about……’God Is Love’…….(Take A Moment To Meditate….Place Your Hands Over Your Heart”)…..Breathe in…..(God Is Love)…..Breathe out….. (Help Me To Love Others)…..Breathe in…..(Help Me To Love Myself)…..Breathe out…..(Love ‘IS’ God)…..Friday here we are….Loving and Being Loved…..Breathe in…..Breathe out…… Let’s pray….”Father, help us to ‘Love and Be Loved’…..help us to Love Ourselves as we learn to Love others….Bless this day….protect us and our families…..we come to You in the name of Jesus…..all together….say…..Amen.”
