James 3:16 So wherever jealousy and selfishness are uncovered, you will also find many troubles and every kind of meanness.
Wednesday is here (Hump Day); as we work our way through another week…..may we think on areas of our lives that need correcting……that require ‘prayer and reflection’……as we read today’s scripture together may we listen as it’s words speaks to our hearts…..”So wherever jealousy and selfishness are uncovered, you will also find many troubles and every kind of meanness.” Isn’t this so true…..think about just ‘true’ this is……when we find ‘deep-seated’ selfishness; we will almost always find various types of ‘meanness’…..putting ourselves above others always involves ‘types’ of mean-spirited attitudes. Think upon this as you walk out your day today…..may we love others as we should…..putting aside selfishness and ‘meanness’ of any sort…..(Take A Moment To Meditate…..Place Your Hands Over Your Heart) ……Breathe in…..(Help Me To ‘BE’ As I ‘AM’ In Christ)……Breathe out….(Guide Me Away From Jealousy)…..Breathe in…..(Help Me To Never Be Mean Spirited)…..Breathe out…..(May My ‘True Identity’ Shine Forth)…..Wednesday here we are…..seeking to ‘BE’ kind and not ‘mean-spirited’ …….Breathe in……Breathe out…….
Let’s pray….”Father, help us to ‘BE’ kind and gentle……help us to avoid any type of ‘meanness’ …….Bless this day….protect us and our families…..we come to You in the name of Jesus……all together……say……Amen.”
