Romans 8:5-6 (TPT)
Those who are motivated by the flesh only pursue what benefits themselves. But those who live by the impulses of the Holy Spirit are motivated to pursue spiritual realities. For the sense and reason of the flesh is death, but the mind-set controlled by the Spirit finds life and peace. Monday has arrived once again…..hope upon hope that you enjoyed a great weekend. Hope you are rested and spiritually rejuvenated….. Where is your focus today? Are you focused on ‘selfish’ achievements…..’selfish’ things that only benefit you? Let’s read today’s scripture together and reflect on it’s message for us……”Those who are motivated by the flesh only pursue what benefits themselves.”….. Are you (am I) being motivated by the ‘flesh’? May we take a long look at our motivations and learn …….read on…..”But those who live by the impulses of the Holy Spirit are motivated to pursue spiritual realities.”….. Submitting to that ‘still’ voice of the Spirit leads to who we really are…..where we are meant to go……how to ‘BE’…..finish up……”For the sense and reason of the flesh is death, but the mind-set controlled by the Spirit finds life and peace.” May we learn to live in the Spirit that lives within us….and follow the mind-set of the Holy Spirit…..and come to terms with the truth that reveals that living in and by the ‘flesh’ leads only to death. Holy Spirit ‘IS’ life and peace ……(Take A Moment To Meditate….Place Your Hands Ove Your Heart)….Breathe in….(Help Me To Live In The Spirit)….Breathe out….(May I Avoid Life Lived In The Flesh)….Breathe in…..(Give Me A Mind-Set Of Life And Peace)…..Breathe out….(Motivate Me In The Spirit)…..Monday here we are…..being motivated in the Holy Spirit….Breathe in….Breathe out….. Let’s pray….”Father, help us to ‘BE’ motivated in the Spirit…..help us to walk in ‘Life and Peace’……Bless this day….protect us and our families…..we come to You in the name of Jesus…. all together….say…..Amen.”
