Greetings,
John 16:33 (TPT) And everything I’ve taught you is so that the peace which is in me will be in you and will give you great confidence as you rest in me. For in this unbelieving world you will experience trouble and sorrows, but you must be courageous, for I have conquered the world!” Friday is here……another weekend just ahead……let’s enjoy the ‘Grace’ of this day first. In this ‘Grace’ (which is Jesus); ‘BE’ courageous and face this day with the assurance that you (we) are wrapped in the loving embrace of the Triune God (Father-Son-Spirit); we are loved more than we can humanly comprehend. Read today’s scripture with me……”And everything I’ve taught you is so that the peace which is in me will be in you and will give you great confidence as you rest in me.”……. We struggle with ‘resting’ in our Lord…..we strive to perform, measure up and do this good deed or that good deed…….. Let us ‘rest’ in Jesus and experience the ‘Peace’ that He ‘IS’……read on…..”For in this unbelieving world you will experience trouble and sorrows, but you must be courageous, for I have conquered the world!” Actually unbelieving would be better translated ‘untrusting’…..we fall short in ‘trusting’ Jesus……rather than saying I ‘believe’ in God…..try saying I ‘trust’ God……may we ‘trust’ Jesus and rest in Him…….(He’s got this!)…….(Take A Moment To Meditate….Place Your Hands Over Your Heart)…..Breathe in…..(Help Me To ‘BE’ Courageous)…….Breathe out…… (Give Me True Rest)……Breathe in……(I Trust God)……Breathe out…….(Give Me True Peace)……Friday here we are walking in the courage and peace that ‘IS’ Jesus…….Breathe in…….Breathe out…… Let’s pray……”Father, help us to Trust God………help us to Rest in Jesus…….Bless this day…. Protect us and our families……we come to You in the name of Jesus…..all together……say…… Amen.”
