Hey Everybody, LMA Christ-Centered Recovery Group (We Are All Recovering From Something) Group Guidelines and Opening Statement Group Guidelines Group Chairperson should cover the following with Group before each meeting: Each meeting is to be held to an Hour from beginning to end. Someone should be asked to volunteer to Open 11tlith a Prayer (wording is optional). One person will serve as the Chairperson and one person will serve as Co-Chairperson. Confidentiality is a must (who is here and what is said here stays here). No Crosstalk (when someone is sharing - be respectful). Please hold sharing to a reasonable amount of time; (so all that wish to may have time to share). No Profanity (Profanity is not a sign of spiritual growth). LMA is an Open Group (as long as you have and/or have an interest in overcoming a problem (ie•.... addictions; or spiritual malady (sin/wrongdoing) ....you are welcome in our Fellowship. We are a "Christ-Centered" Group and we 0promote our Triune God (Father-Son-Spirit). We believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and as our Savior.

LMA (Life More Abundant) Opening Statement LMA is based on the theme 'We Are All Recovering From Something"; as we know many of ourparticipants struggle with Substance Abuse and/or Dependence. Yet, even the 12-Step Model (according to the AA Text; better known as the 'Big Book'); states that 'Alcohol is but asymptom";•.•••• (ie ..•Drugs are symptom; Sin/Wrongdoing are symptoms.••.•). Our premise is that we suffer from a 'much deeper' malady than the 'substance or behavior'; Our Spiritual Condition is the "key to our Recovery, Redemption and Overall Healing". We are not here to force our 'views' or 'beliefs' upon one another; but to seek a closer Relationship with Jesus Christ and with one another. Our goal is to 'grow in our Spiritual Life"; and to experiencea 'More Abundant Life' as the result of this Relationship. Let us read from Luke: Luke 4:18-19 (TPT) 1-8 19 "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, and he has anointed me to be hope for the poor, freedom for the brokenhearted, and new eyes for the blind, and to preach to prisoners, 'You are set free!' I have come to share the message of Jubilee, for the time of God's great acceptance has begun." LMA is a Christ-Centered Recovery Group….our Motto is ‘We Are All Recovering From Something’…… Please feel free to use our Program format to help those suffering from ‘addiction’……whatever the ‘addiction’ may entail…… John 17:3 (TPT) Eternal life means to know and experience you as the only true God, and to know and experience Jesus Christ, as the Son whom you have sent. Experience Jesus……don’t just talk about Him…..Experience Him……. Enough said……
