1 Peter 2:13-15 (TPT) 13 In order to honor the Lord, you must respect and defer to the authority of every human institution, whether it be the highest ruler 14 or the governors he puts in place to punish lawbreakers and to praise those who do what’s right. 15 For it is God’s will for you to silence the ignorance of foolish people by doing what is right.
Friday…….Yay!!! Yep, Friday has arrived once again…..here we are ‘walking out our Christ-Life’ ……..Let’s take a moment to think about a few things. With all the issues in our world today (racism, disrespect for authority and one another…..refusing to accept differences in culture and opinions and on and on); As always let’s defer to our Lord Jesus Christ and listen to His words though Peter…..”In order to honor the Lord, you must respect and defer to the authority of every human institution,”…….. Yes, our governmental leaders whether we agree with their ‘politics’ or not…..read on…..”whether it be the highest ruler or the governors he puts in place to punish lawbreakers and to praise those who do what’s right.”…… God puts our leaders in place…..He sets them in their positions……( so we need not worry….all is well…);…..finish up……”For it is God’s will for you to silence the ignorance of foolish people by doing what is right.” Do the right thing just because it is the right thing to do……..God will ‘honor’ this and we will ‘BE’ blessed for it……(Take A Moment To Meditate….. Place Your Hands Over Your Heart)…..Breathe in…..(Help Me Be Respectful)……Breathe out…… (Help Me Do The Right Thing)……Breathe in……(Help Me To Respect Authority)…….Breathe out …….(Help Me Hon0r You Father)…….Friday here we are walking out a ‘respectful’ life and ‘honoring’ authority as the Lord Wills…….Breathe in…..Breathe out…….
Let’s pray…..”Father, help us to ‘BE’ respectful to those You have placed in authority…….help us to ‘silence the ignorant’ with righteous behavior…….Bless this day…..protect us and our families …….we come to You in the name of Jesus…..all together…..say……Amen.”
