LMA Principle #4 Reach Out to the Body for Help. In many ways this is why Jesus built the Church: to be the ultimate support group. In many instances it is; but 'self-righteousness and legalist attitudes' hinder the 'proper attitude' required to be a 'mentor/sponsor'. Seek others in the ' Body11 that are 'accepting and forgiving' and have similarproblems (ie addictions and compulsions). The ‘Church’ is the people of God…..not a denomination…..not a building…..so, reach out to other people for support and encouragement ……find those that have similar issues (problems)…..they are there…..Simply look and you will find…… James 4:11 (TPT) Dear friends, as part of God’s family, never speak against another family member, for when you slander a brother or sister you violate God’s law of love. And your duty is not to make yourself a judge of the law of love by saying that it doesn’t apply to you, but your duty is to obey it! Loving one another is our ‘duty’……that is the ‘only law’ of God….. Enough said……
