2 Timothy 2:24 (TPT) For a true servant of our Lord Jesus will not be argumentative but gentle toward all and skilled in helping others see the truth, having great patience toward the immature. Hump Day….Wednesday has arrived……another week rolling right along. As we walk out another day; are we looking for those we can help? Are we ‘open’ to being helped? In today’s emotional climate…..let’s not be drawn into political and religious arguments! May we look around us…..and within us and realize our ‘worth’…..we are ‘wonderfully made in the image of God’…… So, as we live this life that has been given to us….let’s read today’s scripture and listen to it’s beautiful truth….”For a true servant of our Lord Jesus will not be argumentative but gentle toward all”…… Gentle toward ‘all’ is a challenge…..but, it is worth the effort…it really is…..let’s try it…..read on…..”and skilled in helping others see the truth.”….. What truth? The truth of who they (we) are…..(Acts 17:28 TPT); our ‘Identity in Christ’…..the ‘good news’ that we are loved unconditionally…and that we are included in the Triune Relationship of ‘Father-Son-Spirit’……finish up….”having great patience toward the immature.” May we ‘BE’ patient with one another and with ourselves…….life keeps ‘clipping along’……let’s enjoy the journey……(Take A Moment To Mediate…Place Your Hands Over Your Heart)…..Breathe in………. ( Give Me Patience)…..Breathe out…..(Help Me ‘BE’ Gentle)…..Breathe in….(Make Me A True Servant)……Breathe out…..(Make Me A Skilled Helper)……Wednesday here we are……looking for those to help and being helped as well…..Breathe in……Breathe out….. Let’s pray….”Father, help us to ‘BE’ helpers in this world…..help us to ‘BE’ gentle toward others and ourselves as well…..Bless this day….protect us and our families…..we come to You in the name of Jesus….all together….say…Amen.”
